The Meaning of Christmas
Scripture: John 1:1-14
Pastor B. Daniel Kim
The problem with Christmas is that we settle for too little. For many of us the holiday parties, Christmas decorations, and eggnog have all added up to the meaning of Christmas. Sometimes even in the church we focus more on the celebration more than what we are celebrating. As we study John chapter one today, John is unique to the other gospel writers who focus on the things surrounding the birth of Jesus, but instead seeks tell us what all these things mean. Come and be changed by the true meaning of Christmas this morning, so that every day can be a celebration.

God-Honoring Relationships
Scripture: Philippians 2:1-11, Ephesians 2:14-22
Pastor B. Daniel Kim
The very first thing that comes to mind when most people think of stewardship is money. And as we have learned in the past three weeks, money, along with time and talents are very important aspects of trust that God graciously gives to us. But as we conclude our series, The Stewardship of Life, we will see that ultimately, life is about relationships and that at the end of the day all that will remain from this present world will be the souls of men and women and the relationships that God entrusted to us. God may open our eyes this Christmas Sunday to the heart of Jesus, the heart of reconciliation and the stewardship of faithful, God-honoring relationships.

Time, Talents, Treasures
Scripture: Psalm 90:10-12, Ephesians 5:15-20, Romans 12:4-7
Pastor B. Daniel Kim
One of the most outlandish but effective schemes of the devil in stealing God's glory has been the perversion of Christmas. What was purposed to be a Holy Mass honoring the birth of Jesus Christ has become a gross celebration of Santa Claus, reindeer and buying lavish gifts. But what about Jesus? What are you giving JESUS for HIS birthday present this year? As we continue in our series the Stewardship of Life, we will see that God has entrusted us with, time, talents and treasures that are rightfully to be offered to the Lord through a life of sacrificial worship. May God continue to challenge and convict us to live for HIM as holy and pleasing offerings this Advent Season!

God's Truth About Money
Scripture: Malachi 3:6-12, Matthew 6:19-24, 1 Timothy 6:6-10
Pastor B. Daniel Kim
People don't like hearing about or talking about money in the church. For some reason, money has become a taboo matter in the church. But when you examine the gospels, we see that Jesus taught more about our use of money than heaven and hell combined! As we continue in our series on the Stewardship of Life, we focus on the very important matter of financial stewardship. As we dig into God's word, we will see that how we use our money speaks volumes about what we truly treasure in our hearts. May God set us free from the love of money and transform our lives to be obedient, generous and faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted to us!

Today marks the first day of Advent, 40 days where we thank God for Christ's first coming, prepare for his final coming at the end of time, and celebrate Christ's presence among us today through the Holy Spirit. To celebrate Advent, we will begin a 4 part series titled The Stewardship of Life, and see that first and foremost, the life that we live is a gift that has been entrusted to us by our Heavenly Father in love through His Son Jesus Christ. May God fix our eyes on Jesus this Advent Season that Jesus alone would be the treasure of our hearts as we offer our lives to Him!

But have you ever considered how God view's our "Sunday Best?" May God continue to transform us through the renewing of our minds in His word that we may indeed be blessed to be His blessing to the ends of the earth!
