Jesus Is The Gospel
Scripture: Luke 2:8-15, Romans 1:1-4
Pastor B. Daniel Kim
One of the most confusing things about the landscape of Christianity today in the 21st century is the fact that depending on where you attend church, you will find different messages and interpretations of what the Gospel is. For some, the Gospel is a style of music. For others the Gospel means wealth and a comfortable lifestyle. What is the true Gospel? This will be our quest and focus as we prepare our hearts during this Advent Season. May God continue to transform our hearts and lives through the renewing of our minds in His truth for His glory and delight!

The Omniscience of God
Scripture: Psalm 139:1-4
Pastor B. Daniel Kim
In recent years, some theologians have questioned the very nature of God through a new theological heresy dubbed, "open theism", claiming that God has given mankind freedom to choose and that God does not know the outcome of these choices. But as we continue in our series on the attributes of God, we will see that scripture cleraly reveals to us that God is the Omniscient, the all knowing God from whom nothing is ever hidden. And yet as we continue in our journey to the heart and the character of God, we will come to see that above all, God is holy and that He calls and enables us to live lives of holiness for His glory. .

Worship Through Scripture
Deuteronomy 6:4-12
Pastor B. Daniel Kim
As we have seen in recent weeks, worship, biblical God honoring worship, is so much more than a song, a meeting, or an experience. Worship is the response of love to the revelation of God expressed in joyful obedience in every aspect of life. And even as many churches have passionately and enthusiastically embraced the modern worship phenomenon, we have witnessed a tragical and rapid decline in the love for God's word in theses same churches and in the lives of many believers. We have become a biblically illiterate church. But as we continue in our series on the Heart of Worship, we will see that without God's word, the revelation of the glory of God, there is no true worship. May the Lord renew the passion in our hearts for the Word of God.

1 Corinthians 12:1-11; 27-31
Pastor B. Daniel Kim
When you read the account of the mighty acts of God through the lives of he Apostles in the book of Acts you encounter some supernatural things. We see that God is the God that heals, that enables the speaking for foreign and heavenly languages, that speaks through prophecy and that supernaturally guides and gives discernment. But are these supernatural Holy Spirit given gifts and abilities for the church today? As we pick up on our series, the Church on Fire, we will look to answer this question in the light of scripture. May the Lord open our eyes, hearts and minds to the truth of His word.
