Who We Are...

The Missions Committee of Karis Community Fellowship is a group of lay people committed to seeing our congregation have a passion for God’s heart for the nations. We define missions as crossing cultures to actively participate in God’s mission to redeem all peoples to their original purpose of glorifying God and enjoying Him forever. We believe that the Bible calls us to missions in Isaiah 12:4... “Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done, and proclaim that His name is exalted.”

How do We Do Missions?

- We do missions by sending short-term trips from our church.
- We do missions by commissioning and supporting long-term missionaries.
- We do missions by addressing the physical and spiritual needs of people groups.
- We do missions by working toward church planting movements and scripture translations in the heart language.

When We Meet...

The Missions Committee meets on Mondays to discuss logistical matters, pray, and fellowship.
