The local church is the physical manifestation of the universal church, the body of Christ.  God has called us to come together in the context of the local church to live together in community and to serve one another and advance His Kingdom.  It is our deep desire that you would not only attend our services but look to get involved in membership and ministry here at Karis.

It is our desire to help you take the fist steps in your journey with God toward eternal life through the following ministries:

• Baptism: It is our honor to serve those who want to publicly express their commitment to Jesus Christ through water baptism (Acts 2:41)
  
  
• Karis 101: Our membership class in an introduction to Christianity and to our church family here at Karis.  This is where most people first learn about the importance and the benefits of church membership and the distinctives of Karis Community Fellowship.  A clear presentation of the Gospel is given and people are given the opportunity to make the membership covenant to God and the congregation.  New members are strongly encouraged to live out their covenant to God and the church in community and in serving in a ministry that God has shaped them for.
